In the latest AMQ International newsletter, Dr Penny Burns has endorsed the IPWEA NAMS. AU Practice Manual on Building Condition and Performance Assessment Guidelines written by SPM and published in July 2009.

"I found these guidelines to be easy to understand and comprehensive without being overwhelming," Dr Burns said. "Really valuable is the Quick Guide, which in just 6 pages provides the Building Asset Manager an overview of the basic elements of the job."

AMQ International, based in Adelaide, South Australia, is a small company with global reach that acts as a focal point for ideas in asset management. Its objective, since its inception in 1992 has been to promote and support the asset management community.
