Steve Lyons is leading a series of workshops on IPWEA/NAMS Practice Note 3·

The workshops are providing an opportunity for practitioners across all States in Australia to learn how to undertake condition and performance assessments for buildings. The workshop is to be held over two days and includes presentations on the Practice Note, training on how to use the Excel tools provided through IPWEA and a practice infield survey.

Steve co-authored the Practice Note with Peter Way, Chairman NAMS. It was released in mid 2009 and has been distributed to over 300 people across Australia and beyond. The Western Cape Provincial Government are using the Practice Note to guide them through the survey process for their buildings in Cape Town.
