NMIT has licensed SPM Assets as part of its solution to implement an effective Capital Asset Management system.

NMIT confirmed the licence last week and its Facilities staff are now receiving training in the use of SPM Assets and the associated survey application, SPM Mobile. NMIT will use SPM Mobile to carry out property surveys based on the NAMS approach and consistent with the TEC CAM Standard. It will then use the advanced analytical tools available within SPM Assets to provide the information and analysis required for an Asset Management Plan.

NMIT will be the eighth tertiary education institution in Australiasia using SPM Assets and SPM Mobile with several more expected to follow in coming months.
