South Canterbury District Health Board has selected SPM to prepare its Asset Management Plan for submission to the New Zealand Ministry of Health.
SPM has been actively working with an increasing number of District Health Boards in recent years to implement asset management planning frameworks and develop Health Services Asset Plans and Facilities Asset Plans. SPM is recognised as a leading provider of asset management planning solutions in the New Zealand Health sector.
Commenting on the project, David Long, SPM General Manager, New Zealand said, "We are particularly pleased to have been selected by South Canterbury DHB for this project because until recently it has chosen to produce asset management plans internally. We look forward to working with SCDHB on this assignment and the potential to support the implementation of future improvement activities."
