Spotless Services Australia Pty Ltd has licensed SPM Health to support its asset management planning operations in its Public Private Partnership contract with the Royal Children Hospital (RCH) which is currently under construction in Melbourne. This follows on from the successful use of SPM Health in Spotless’ contract with Orange Hospital in Western New South Wales.

The project will involve progressively loading RCH asset data during the construction phase, with a first cut asset lifecycle profile produced using information drawn mainly from design spreadsheets and plans. Analysis will then be undertaken to provide more predictable forecasting of asset renewal and maintenance budgets and assist Spotless in evaluating organisational support policies that would enable the facility achieve optimum functional performance and minimise risks.

Commenting on the project, Roger Jameson, SPM General Manager Sales and Marketing said, “This project further reflects the value that SPM’s software and consultancy services are providing to Spotless, and especially when considering how the software will be used to generate data models of each asset configuration during the construction phase and to then analyse the relative costs and performance implications. The project will build further on the work we have provided on the Orange contract and we look forward to another successful outcome.”
