West Coast District Health Board has engaged SPM to prepare its 2009 Health Asset Management Plan for the New Zealand Ministry of Health. 

SPM has an established relationship with West Coast DHB since producing its 2005 asset management plan and conducting an assessment of Buller and Reefton Hospitals in 2006. The project will involve a review of strategy and business case documents and a lifecycle analysis of clinical before producing the updated asset management plan.

Commenting on the project, David Long, SPM General Manager, New Zealand said, "We are pleased West Coast DHB has chosen to engage SPM again to produce its updated asset management plan. This reinforces the importance of long term relationships to support the ongoing development and implementation of robust asset planning systems."
